This is basically under construction, just without the little clip-art construction worker. In time it might become quite
complex as this might be a good way to counter the fact that I'm always without the bookmark I want. Or it might not, it
depends whether I really ever want to spend an afternoon arranging links in HTML (yeah, that doesn't look likely).
For now, I'll just give you two to consider:
- DMOZ.org - An Internet directory, great for when you're searching for a common topic and
Google just brings up useless Spam.
- The Red Hill Guide to Computer Hardware - About as detailed a history as
you'll find of PC technology through the '90s and early 2000s, facinating if you've got an interest and the time to read it.
Also useful if you use PCs from the era.
Vectrex
- Vector Gaming Forums - Where most of the discussion about the Vectrex and
related topics can be found on the 'net.
- rec.games.vectrex newsgroup - Where most Vectrex discussion used to be found on the 'net.
Archived at Google Groups for those too cool for Usenet.
- PlayVectrex.com - Lots of Hardware mods and electronics projects for the Vectrex.
Also lots of programming Docs. Hasn't been updated for many years.
- Vectrex.co.uk - A regularly updated Vectrex website with news and lots of documents archived.
Also has extensive links, so due to personal lazyness I direct you there for more. I notice there are a few obscure ones in my bookmarks
that aren't there though, so here they are:
- My 3D Printable Vectrex Cartridge Case - I did this some time ago. It's a design for
a Vectrex cartridge case that can be printed with a home 3D printer. Here's a mirror of the files.
